Privacy Policy
Your Financial Privacy Rights
Spratt Savings and Loan will take all necessary steps to safeguard sensitive information that has been entrusted with us by our customers. The following privacy policy and disclosure outlines our practices regarding personally identifiable financial information for customers. This policy serves as a standard for all Spratt employees for collection, use, retention, and security of individual customer information.
Types of Information We Collect
At Spratt, we collect nonpublic information from a variety of sources including the following:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms.
- Information about your transactions with us.
- Information about your transaction with nonaffiliated third parties.
- Information from a consumer reporting agency.
We will limit the use and collection of information about our customers to that which is necessary to administer our business, provide superior service, and offer opportunities that we think will be of interest to our customers.
Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information
We do not disclose any nonpublic information about customer accounts or other identifiable data to third parties for their independent use unless:
- The customer requests or authorizes such disclosure.
- The information is provided to help complete a transaction authorized by a customer.
- The information is provided to a reputable credit bureau.
- The disclosure otherwise is lawfully permitted or required.
Under no circumstances will Spratt employees provide account information to companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of non-financial products or services of such companies. Further, it is the policy of Spratt not to use outside companies for telemarketing or direct mailing companies for the association’s product and services.
With regards to former customer, we do not disclose nonpublic information.
Safeguarding Customer Information
At Spratt Savings and Loan we protect consumer privacy by insuring that only employees who have a business reason for knowing information have access to it. Spratt has appointed a “Privacy Information Officer” who is responsible for maintaining internal procedures to insure that our customer’s information is protected. Contracts With Nonaffiliated Third Parties
When Spratt Savings and Loan conducts business with third party service providers, it requires vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided them.

Spratt Savings and Loan Association recognizes and respects the privacy expectations of our customers to understand our commitment to privacy in our use of customer information. As a result of our commitment, we have developed these privacy principles which are made readily available to our customers.
